Transition Town would like to encourage the introduction of a cleaner bus service to promote health, reduce pollution and assist with the housing crisis by introducing an inter-town service between Tofino and Ucluelet.
Vancouver company “Green Power Bus” has created an ALL Electric bus that might be an excellent consideration for the area.
You can also check out the “Smith Electric” vehicles in the ‘Food’ section of the site.
Biking in and around the area is very popular and after walking, is the least carbon intensive form of transportation. A well maintained path helps with the encouragement of this form of transport.
